Acceptance of terms

By creating an account and using Necto ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Description of service

Necto is a web application that helps users find professional contacts, generate personalized outreach emails using AI, and send those emails via Gmail. The app uses the Google Gmail API solely to send emails you explicitly approve.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the app only for legitimate professional networking purposes. You must not:

• Use the app to send spam, unsolicited bulk email, or harassing messages
• Attempt to circumvent any rate limits or send emails in volumes that violate Gmail's policies
• Use the app to impersonate another person
• Attempt to access another user's account or data
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy the app's functionality without permission

Gmail API usage

The app requests the gmail.send OAuth scope. The gmail.send scope authorizes the app to send emails on your behalf when you click "Send." It grants no access to your inbox, message bodies, or attachments. You retain full control and can revoke this permission at any time via your Google account settings at myaccount.google.com/permissions. You are responsible for all emails sent through the app using your Gmail account.

User responsibilities

You are responsible for the content of all emails sent through the app. The AI-generated email drafts are suggestions — you must review them before sending. Necto is not responsible for any consequences resulting from emails you choose to send.

Intellectual property

The app and its underlying code are owned by Necto. AI-generated email content produced for your use belongs to you.

Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be available at all times, that AI-generated emails will be accurate or appropriate, or that sending coffee chat emails will result in any particular outcome.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Necto shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
